Christopher M. Formant

Christopher Formant is executive vice president for BearingPoint Inc.’s North American Financial Services business unit. His responsibilities include directing the company’s North American Banking, Capital Markets, Global Diversified, and Insurance business segments, as well as BearingPoint’s Real Estate, Professional Services and Hospitality group.

As Vice President, Formant ensures that BearingPoint’s Financial Services practice delivers client-dedicated, industry experts, and unique solutions that allow true enterprise transformation.

Formant’s previous career accomplishments include serving as president and CEO of Scient’s predecessor firm, iXL, Global Banking Practice Leader of PWC Consulting, and executive vice president of MBNA America. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Commerce from Washington and Lee University and a master’s in Business Administration from The George Washington University.

Thomas McKelvey

Thomas McKelvey serves as the senior vice president responsible for leading BearingPoint’s Banking, Finance, and Investment Services segment within the Financial Services Consulting Industry. His responsibilities include all consulting services related to U.S.-focused banks, finance companies, and investment services firms. The segment has over 500 experienced and focused industry and technology professionals concentrating on banking clients daily.

McKelvey has almost 20 years of experience in the services industry, with the majority focused on financial services. He has worked with many of the leading financial institutions in the country and led numerous successful, mission-critical projects for these organizations. His background includes projects focused on diversified financial institutions, finance companies and investment firms. He has led projects in the areas of: business strategy, customer manager, operational/cost efficiency and reengineering, financial/shareholder value analysis, financial management and technology strategy, architecture, and implementation.

McKelvey holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters degree from Oklahoma State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has been a speaker and panelist in numerous industry forums nationally.

Sarah Diamond

Sarah Diamond leads the Global Markets Segment in BearingPoint’s Financial Services Consulting Practice, which is responsible for BearingPoint’s relationships with all of the leading global investment banking and securities firms. Additionally, she is a member of the Financial Services?management team, an instructor for BearingPoint’s training programs, and leads the New York Office’s Community Connectivity program.

Her career in the financial services industry spans over 22 years. She began in London with a global commercial bank working in its operations and risk management units and then transitioned to a consulting career in the US over 17 years ago. Throughout her career, Diamond has consulted with global financial institutions and regulatory agencies formulating and assisting in the implementation of strategic business plans, assessing risk management organizational structures and practices, and supporting large-scale systems integration and performance improvement projects.

In addition, Sarah Diamond is Co-President of the Women’s Bond Club of New York and Chairman of the American Friends of St. Hilda’s College, University of Oxford.

Paul H. McDonnell

Paul McDonnell serves as Senior Vice President, Managing Director, and Insurance Segment Leader for BearingPoint. He has over eighteen years of experience in the financial services industry, both domestically and internationally.

Prior to joining BearingPoint, McDonnell served as a principal of IBM’s North American insurance solutions consulting practice and managed a development organization of 165 professionals located in four sites across Europe with an annual budget of $28 million. Working with major, worldwide insurance companies, he led the IBM initiative to develop and establish the Insurance Application Architecture (IAA). Additionally, he authored the IBM-published IAA Compliance Guide and the IAA Solutions Road Map, and used software and CASE tool development resulting in establishing common guidelines and approaches for application integration in the industry.

McDonnell holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA in Finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He has also received the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional designations.

Mindy S. Propper

Mindy S. Propper leads BearingPoint’s Financial Services Customer Relationship Management practice in North America. The practice includes CRM Strategy, Business and Customer Analytics, Customer Interaction across channels including Contact Centers and System Integration including the core CRM and Portal technologies. She is also a member of the Financial Services?management team.

Ms. Propper Hs spent over 23 years in the financial services industry. She began her career in New York with a global commercial bank in the wholesale cash management businesses. She transitioned to a consulting career 20 years ago. She has consulted with global financial institutions formulating and assisting in the implementation of strategic business plans, assessing customer management approaches and practices and directing large-scale performance improvement and merger and integration projects.

Mindy Propper holds a bachelor of arts degree in Economics from Franklin and Marshall College and a Master’s in Business Administration from Fordham University.

Christopher D. Hamilton

Christopher Hamilton, Managing Director and Senior Vice President of the global diversified segment of BearingPoint, is responsible for driving worldwide client issues and solutions focused around productivity and cost takeout, industry utilities, and outsourced solutions.

Hamilton has 20 years of experience consulting with global banking and insurance organizations in operational, technical, and functional areas. Prior to joining BearingPoint, Hamilton worked for a major U.S. money center bank based in Asia. Preceding his promotion to senior vice president with BearingPoint, Hamilton served as the business and technology solutions leader for the company’s financial services consulting practice. Additionally, he managed the risk and finance management consulting practice specializing in derivatives, risk, and trading and financial systems.

Presently, Hamilton’s client responsibilities include directing accounts with JP MorganChase, GE Capital, AIG Insurance, Deutsche Bank, CSFB, and others.

Mark Sullivan

Mark Sullivan, Managing Director of BearingPoint’s World Class Management group is responsible for driving solution development across all of BearingPoint’s Financial Services customers.

Mr. Sullivan has over 11 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry providing financial and technological support. He has managed several large consulting engagements, which have required the integration, conversion redesign and reorganization of operational and financial functions.

Presently, Mr. Sullivan’s client responsibilities include directing the GE Capital account, as well as wide range of consulting assignments covering performance measurement, profitability improvement, financial systems architecture strategy and operational improvements.

J. Thayer Jack

Mr. Jack is a Managing Director at BearingPoint and he leads their Cost Management Practice. The CM Practices specializes in the delivery of strategic organizational solutions to global financial services organizations. His areas of practice focus are:

  • Information Technology Portfolio Management

He has delivered solutions in the United Kingdom, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Latin America, South Africa and Asia. Mr. Jack is a Certified Public Accountant.
