Randolph C. Blazer
Chairman and CEO
BearingPoint

Mr. Blazer has served as Chief Executive Officer since April 2000 and as Chairman of the Board since February 2001. Under Mr. Blazer's leadership, BearingPoint (formerly known as KPMG Consulting, Inc.) became the first of the Big Five consulting firms to separate from its audit and tax parent and become an independent, publicly-traded company. Mr. Blazer has led the acquisitions of the consulting businesses of 20 non-US KPMG International practices and the recent acquisitions of selected Andersen Business Consulting units. From 1997 until April 2000, Mr. Blazer served as a member of a two-person executive team (including as co-chief executive officer from August 1999 until April 2000) that led the consolidation of KPMG LLP’s global consulting practices into a single business unit. From 1991 until 1997, Mr. Blazer served as partner-in-charge of KPMG’s federal services consulting practice, the firm’s fastest growing segment, where he oversaw all consulting products and service offerings for the line of business serving federal government and higher education institutions. In 1977, Mr. Blazer joined KPMG LLP as a consulting professional in the Washington, D.C. office.
